Overview
Protect your high speed network from noise and electromagnetic interference when you connect with our shielded Cat6 patch cable. For voice/data/video distribution, this cable will handle bandwidth-intensive applications . Meets all Cat6 TIA/EIA-568-B-2.1, draft 9 standards, and drastically reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) .
Each of the individual pairs is bonded together to help maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to the termination point. Constructed from high quality cable and a shortened body plug, this design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation.
Please Note: For maximum protection against EMI/RFI interference, use our shielded patch panel, #03864, and Cat6 shielded keystone jacks for complete end-to-end protection.

Comments about 14ft Cat6 550 MHz Molded Shielded Patch Cable - Gray:
After noticing some audible interference on a cordless phone, I learned from a tech support that a shielded Cat 6 is superior in blocking interference from/to other devices, than the more flexible cable I was using, at the time. In this case, the device included: a wireless computer backup device, a router, cable modem, cordless telephone, cell phone signal booster, TV and several components, all in close proximity to one another. The cables-to-go shielded cat 6 cable has functioned flawlessly without any interference from/to, the other components. Yes, the trade-off is that the cable is a little stiff, and I would have preferred black to grey, but that's minor.
