Comments about USB to HDMI® Adapter with Audio Up To 1080p:
These are the perfect little boxes to allow a laptop to run dual professional quality HD moniters. The only drawback is that the screen resolution is limited by the laptop that is running the show. If I had hooked these up to a desktop, I'm assuming I would have been able to run full screen on the 32" monitors without the black border of screen resolution restrictions.

If I play a tv show or movie from my laptop, will the audio from the laptop come through on the television speakers through the USB to HDMI connection? I read the first help support question, wasn't wasn't 100% clear on the answer.
A:Yes. The USB to HDMI adapter will carry audio and video. So if the HDMi connection is going to the TV, then the video and audio would play on the TV.
A:This would allow video and audio output through the HDMI output on the USB adapter. You would not need an additional cable if the HDMI input is playing the audio and video. You might need to select the correct audio output on the computer.
Q:Does the C2G USB to HDMI Adapter (#30547) require power or is it powered via USB? If it is USB power, does the device have a secondary way to accept power in case my USB extender (#29342)does not have enough power?
A:The USB to HDMI Adapter with Audio gets the required power through the USB connection. The adapter does not have a way to accpet additional power externally or through another means.
A:30547 is USB powered. The problem with your setup is that the USB extender 29342 is only functioning at USB 1.1 speeds. The 30547 requires USB 2.0 for proper operation. You would USB 2.0 extender in order to get the USB to HDMI adapter to work properly.
