Use it with portable USB storage devices, CD/ DVD drives, MP3 players, wireless devices, external input, mice etc. Laptop work areas often have limited space such as airline tray tables, small coffee shop tables, or a person's lap. All these scenarios limit the user's ability to effectively connect one or more USB devices.
With the FlexUSB adapter, you no longer need to worry about inconvenient locations or awkward orientation of your USB ports. This patented flexible adapter allows USB devices to plug into an open USB port from any angle. I have to admit they are on the "soft" side, but this little device saved a huge amount of engineering time. We have a computer setup, that at first did not require the two USBs on the front of our rack mount computer that sits in a cabinet. When we did need to use them, this device saved the day. We only had .750" clearance, and typically USB cable ends are 1.25 to 1.5". We would have had to redesign all our metal if not for this, and luckily, once it is in, it will never have need for movement.

I sell software for digitizing embroidery and we have a security device that has to plug in. Many of my customers have damaged their devices but with this small item, they can plug and unplug as many times as they want. Also, when working on a lap top in your lap, they don't damage their device since this adapter has multi angles. Great gadget and so small you can fit it in anywhere. I like the fact it doesn't have a 6" cord like many do.
