Overview
This high performance analog audio y-cable is specifically designed to connect a single source to two load devices, or split a monophonic signal for connection to a stereo input. Silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) twisted pair conductors guarantee optimal, noise-free delivery of the delicate audio signals with perfect fidelity. Our Cu Shielding Technology™ uses three layers of shielding to provide maximum isolation from EMI/RFI interference: two 80%+ OFC copper braids and one 100% overlapped foil. This state-of-the-art design eliminates environmental interference, and ensures astounding microdynamic performance coupled with amazingly quiet backgrounds.
SplitLok™ 24K gold-plated connectors feature the use of corrosion-resistant, precision-machined surfaces and a split centerpin for a superior connection with long-lasting quality. Precise soldering techniques use expensive silver solder for increased electrical integrity, maximum signal transfer and long-term reliability. The Flexcable™ ultra-flexible PVC jacket enables easy installation, and guarantees performance under the most demanding conditions.

I use this Y-cable to connect wireless headphones (with L and R RCA jacks) to the audio output of my Samsung LED TV (with an 1/8" female mini jack). I was looking for a high quality, short (< 6") cable to make this connection. Considering that the TV is mounted on a wall, making the connections on the back of the set difficult to access, I wanted a cable that would allow for tight connections and that would remain in place. This was the only such cable I found that met my requirements. At about $20, it's a bit pricey for what it is, but the extremely high quality more than justifies it.
