      A:

This will allow you to connect multiple devices to a single PC. For the type of solution you request, would require a HUB and a USB SWITCH. I suggest using 29056 and 30505.

    Q:

Is there any mounting capability with this hub? It looks like there are rubber feet on the bottom for sitting on a desktop, but I would like to mount this under or on the side of a desk. Are there any holes for mounting? Or can the rubber feet be peeled off so I could try using industrial-strength velcro?

  • TruLink® 4 port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub

    Q:

Do I have to have 3.0 USB port or 3.0 speed on my computer now to use this SuperSpeed Hub from TruLink? In other words, if my present computer only has 2.0 capability, this new hub won't increase my USB speed, will it? How do you find out what your USB system is rated at? Thank you.
Asked on 11/22/2012 by kfoool from Lincoln, NE

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The USB 3.0 hub will not increase the USB speed on a laptop. It will work with the USB 2.0 ports but you will only get USB 2.0 speeds through the hub. You would check with you computer manufacturer on what USB speeds your computer supports.
