Molded in place, ferrite filters directly contact the shield to reduce EMI/RFI interference.

While this cable is designed to support the Sun workstation environment, it is compatible with all PC and Mac® SCSI environments. 1ft is functionally equivalent to Sun® #530-1883 and #530-2057; 3ft is functionally equivalent to Sun #530-2022 and 530-2224; 6ft is functionally equivalent to Sun #530-1885 and 530-2384; 12ft is functionally equivalent to Sun #530-2352.
