Space Saver
I use this switchbox so two computers can share one monitor. I had separate monitors for each computer but I only used one of them once in a while. My desktop was too cluttered, so I use this box to eliminate one monitor. It works well, the switchbox doesn't interfere with the resolution of each system. I have two different resolutions and they switch when I switch the box. It's not high tech but it suits my needs.

Works as advertised
This unit is great for what it is. It does tend to cause the screen to have a 1/2 second glitch when you flip the switch. If you want a smooth transition, buy an expensive fader.

Quality is obvious up-front
Product used in auditorium setting for overhead video projection and allows multiple PC connection. Equipment is small profile and allows almost hiding from view.

VGA Switch Box works great
For visitors who want to use their laptop in our training room, we added the Switch Box. Now it's very easy for them to switch from the desktop to the laptop and still use the same big lcd-screen.

Works Great
I use the switch box to select either DVD or laptop as input to our projector system. Just one flip of the switch changes the images displayed on the projector. Make your connections once and then just use the switch to make your selection.

instead of using this to power 2 monitors, can I use it to feed ONE Monitor and One TV?
This switch box is designed to send a single VGA source to one monitor or one TV. You would not be able to send the signal to both simultaneously with this switch. So if you are wanting to do one or the other, it would work. If you want to display the same source on both the monitor and TV, you would need a splitter like 29587.

It is recommended not to use this switch with any other signal than VGA.
