Fast ship on hard to find coupler
This is the perfect connector for a home/business security system. Replacing the connectors that had become corroded these parts provide much clearer connection results from outdoor cameras. The six pin variety was hard to find. Haven't found any cons to date.

Great for inteconnecting LocoNet bus cables.
These are perfect for what I wanted. I am making a modular model railroad layout using Digitrax LocoNet. LocoNet uses RJ12 plugs and 6-conductor flat cables. These modular straight-thru connectors are perfect for interconnecting layout modules. I run my LocoNet bus on the 6-conductor cable along each module and terminate with an RJ12 at each end. With this coupler, I just join the layout modules together physically, then interconnect the layout modules with this coupler. Perfect!

Can this be use with Cat 6 cable ?
No. The Cat6 cable would use a RJ45 plug that would be too big for this coupler. You could use 20201 with a Cat6 cable.

Is the wiring of this coupler straight thru, i.e. can I plug my two cables together and it will not cross the wiring.
That is correct. This is a straight through coupler.
