Looked in[...]and none carried this type of plate in ivory or almond, only in white. Also, what is different and perhaps better for my application - you can terminate the cat 5e and cat 3 cables directly to the plate. It comes with color-coded wire terminations on the wall-facing side. There are lots of blank plates available, but these require purchasing separate RJ 45 jacks. Also, these plates are not flimsy, but 'heavier-duty' than some I have seen in the above mentioned retail stores.

When my father asked me to help do a construction project I wasn't terribly excited. We replaced a 6 foot glass door and removed 2 8 foot glass door to be replaced with walls and windows. We then rebuilt his octagon deck. I suggested that we make the "sun" room network ready and he thought it was a great idea. So off I went in search of the needed hardware. The combination of the phone jack and Network jack made this product ideal as I could place 3 locations around the room. IT will make the house more appealing if he sells it in the future. Wonderful prdust, easy to install and durable.
