This PCI was purchased to replace big brand card from Big Box retailer that did not work. I called CablesToGo Tech support, told them what I wanted to do, they told me this card would work. I swapped cards on my PC; XP PRO recognized it right away. Hooked up a Digital8 tape deck to the PC, Windows Movie Maker started right up and I was downloading home movies to my external HD in minutes. Returned obsolete card to Big Box Retailer.
