Comments about Cables To Go Port Authority 2-Port USB 2.0 PC Card:

On my laptop (HP ZE2000) it is not plug and play. I have to plug the desired devices into the card before I boot. If I try plugging something in later, it is not recognized. Even worse, some devices (e.g., my GPS receiver and my USB hub), even when plugged in ahead of time, are not recognized. Inasmuch as both my native USB ports have gone bad, this has served as a temporary workaround, but obviously I will have to get my USB ports fixed. I believe that as a supplement, after I get my USB ports fixed, this will be handy, but it is not the solution I had hoped for.
