This is a very nice combo unit that brings 2 more USB connections to the front along with the 3.5 floppy. The unit has two problems: when using the side mount holes, you can't use the one next to the USB plug as there is no room, not even for a flat head screw which means you have to modify the unit by drilling out the bottom mount hole in that corner. Also, the unit only comes with two plug screws for a four hole mount plug.

This 2 port hub saved me having to replace a perfectly good computer case that was missing front usb headers. The 2 port usb 2.0 front bay hub includes parts for adding a 3.5" device in the same bay. I have the 2 usb 2.0 ports and a 9 in 1 chip reader, thus making the single bay run 2 devices. Otherwise I could have easily left the blank plate on and used it for a hard drive or any other internal device.

Have an older case without front USB access. Being I take files with me to other business to work on at home. I needed the USB connection on the front for quick easy access.
I am very impressed at the high quality of the bay USB device. The workmanship is superior.
Included is everything needed to connect any type of computer design.
If you have a spare large bay available then buy this USB solution to bring rear USB connection to the front or un-used USB connection pins on the mother board to the front. And there is still room for a floppy drive or hard drive.
The only thing is you have to pick beige or blace, it would be nice if they just included both colors in the kit.

I have three desktop computers. One is for work the other two are for personal use. None had a front USB port. I always had to crawl behind the computer and plug in a USB cable to download from an external device.
This is a simple installation if you have any mechanical ability at all. Internally, you must have at least one USB connector to be able to use the product.

This works better than the front panel USB ports on my case itself...they didn't skimp on the wiring. I actually don't need to use two plugs when using my external drive.
