Use it in standard electrical boxes or mud rings, and with standard decorative wall plates for easy installation. HD15 female DB-style feed-through connectors provide a secure connection for VGA cables. The 3.5mm jack on the front connects by a 3in pigtail to another jack for easier connection of your audio cable. Used this in our church to put video cable below the stage. We use computer screens to display the music to the worship team, so there were cords everywhere. Useful and got the job done. Unfortunately, the paint (finish) is not durable so don't rub it on the edges and be careful when putting on the trim plate (not included).

We've been using these in a High School environment. They are very clean looking and rugged. They aren't cheap -- but they look great and are holding up even better. We typically use these when installing classroom projectors with long HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio.

I installed this in my banquet facility to hook to our projector and sound system. It cleaned up some loose wires we had, and made it very simple for our customers to plug their laptops into our system. Don't forget to order both cables to hook a laptop up to the plate so you will have them on hand for your customers.
