Comments about Cables To Go USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit:

This product allows the user to place USB devices at further distances by utilizing CAT5/6 network cabling. The only drawback is that is has only one type of USB input on the transmitter and it should allow for multiple USB cable connectors.

Comments about Cables To Go USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit:

Set this up in two smart board classrooms and my personal theater room. USB extender units work flawless. Great item for a HTPC setup. Used in conjunction with a HDMI over Cat5E extender from SII, to keep my Full tower size HTPC located in my computer room and be able to view HTPC 1080p HDMI in my Theater room 60' away. I can keep my rather large LED lit PC and resultant fan noise / light and heat on my HTPC in a seperate room away from the theater room. Using these extenders allows me to control the PC just as if it was in the room. I use a Interlink wireless keyboard/trackball with 100' range. USB extenders work perfect....

Comments about Cables To Go USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit:

I put computer and printers in a closet about 30' from monitor. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse. I need a cable to operate the webcam from the monitor -- USB requires amplification to cover the distance. I should have investigated the webcam USB requirements -- didn't occur to me that the USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit by CablesToGo would not be sufficient for the task.

Comments about Cables To Go USB Superbooster Wall Plate Kit:

I am a Engineer/Contractor. Unfortunately the wrong wire was pulled because my Locksmith gave me the wrong info for a programmable lock. The wall plate unit was a cheap, reliable, and easy fix that saved me and my client a lot of work and money.
