Original MSRP $45.99 - You save 35%
Compatible with all iPods with a dock connector, and it will also work with the iPhone in "airplane mode". You can easily play and listen to your iPod's music library over your car or home stereo. The FM transmitter plugs into the dock connector, and is powered by your iPod, with no awkward cables interfering with your musical enjoyment. It's easy to use; simply plug the FM transmitter into the iPod, find a radio station on your stereo with weak/no broadcasting, and set the FM transmitter to the same station.

The digital display with its wide transmission range make it easy to choose a frequency that works best. Built-in memory stores the last frequency you used. The included car charger uses your car's DC outlet (can use the FM transmitter function separately or at the same time) to charge your iPod while on the road as well. It plugs right into the FM transmitter so you can listen to your music while charging your iPod.

Comments about Cables To Go iPod®/iPhone®-Compatible FM Transmitter and DC Car Charger:

The Good: Very easy installation and setup. A real no-brainer.
The Bad: I'm new to iPods and did not know that there are two charging mechanisms. Older iPods charge via the FireWire port and newer ones charge via the USB port. When I plugged in my iPod, I got a message that charging by this device was not supported. Bummer.
The Ugly: The FM signal is from the unit is not very strong. Naturally, the iPod sits in the front of the car with me. On my car, the radio antenna is mounted on a rear fender. Unless I toss the iPod into the back seat, I get a noisy signal.
