Zinc-plated, die-cast housing with precision- machined ports and soldered back ensure 140dB isolation against RF leakage. I got this coacial y-slpitter so that i could use my notebook PC as a tv tuner. i got this splitter because this one supports more frequencies than my other one by more than 75%, but yet my other one seems to support one or two frequencies that this one does not. at least it can still be used with my notebook PC, so that i can convert VHS tapes to DVD.

*a thing to note is that i am a advanced user when it comes to these things, so i wasn't trying to use the coacal y-splitter for its normal operation of just splitting the tv signal, so that it will be sent to two TVs at once. the standard configuration works great, while the configuration i setup had slight issues because it probable was not fully meant for that, unless your PC has the proper hardware and software...
