Comments about Impact Acoustics Impact Acoustics™ 2-Port HDMI™ Splitter/Extender with HDCP™:

I use this little (and I do mean little) device to split an HDMI signal to an LCD TV and a projector. My Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver only has one HDMI out so this is the perfect solution. The best part is that there is no signal degradation, sparkles, random cut outs, or artifacts from my projector which is connected with a ~50ft cable.

I am thinking about upgrading to the 4-port model so I can distribute to my bedroom and a TV on my porch as well. With wireless XBOX360 controllers and an HTPC that I can control with my iPhone, it just makes sense to have all my gear in one place and distribute to different displays.

The airflow in my cabinet is horrid at best and this splitter keeps relatively cool compared to everything else in there. It simply works with everything I throw at it. It even handles quick switching between inputs on my receiver.

Overall a great product with a lot of uses.
