Most high-definition audio/video components utilize the HDMI interface to provide crystal clear, digital sound and picture. With the wealth of devices now using HDMI, it’s easy to run out of free HDMI inputs on your TV set or receiver. The 4-Port HDMI selector switch solves this problem by providing additional high-definition digital inputs for sources such as DVD, Blu-ray™, gaming systems, and high-definition cable/satellite boxes.

Our HDMI selector offers 3 rear inputs plus a convenient front input for temporary connection of gaming systems or HD camcorders and cameras. Fully compatible with HDCP-enabled sources. Blue front panel LEDs display the HDMI source currently selected. Sources may be detected automatically, via front-panel, via discrete command remote control, or CEC.

- Owned this switch for 6 weeks
- Remote works well
- Works great with my TV/Monitor that only has one HDMI connector with multiple HDMI components that need to feed to it.
- Auto-switch to new source is a good feature, but it can work against you. It would be nice if this product had a source locking feature that enabled you to stop it from auto-switching when necessary. For instance, my cable box is off and I'm watching a movie on Blue-ray or playing a video game and the cable box turns on to record a show. The switch will change sources to the cable box because it is the newest source to turn on. That is a little frustrating because you have to use the remote or push the button on the front to switch back to the source you were using. Other than that, it seems to be a reliable, good quality switch. It does the job.

Buying this product was a much better alternative then purchasing a new television. It's easy to set up, works perfectly and looks good. In fact, I need to buy some additional units.

I use the selector switch to connect a DVD Recorder/Player and a HD Sat. Receiver to the one and only HDIM input of a Sony Bravia LCD HDTV. The switch senses the new active signal and switches to that input. I almost never use the remote even though it's a nice feature.

I am glad I have the box so I may hook up all my HDMI equipment through one box to the TV but I have to turn off what I am not using (satelite) and turn on the other equipment (PS3), otherwise it will switch back and forth on its own. Does not make for good gaming if you are playing and it suddenly switches to the TV. Otherwise it is a nice switch box.
