Comments about Cables To Go TruLink® 4-Port UXGA Monitor Switcher/Extender with 3.5mm Audio:

Works simply and is a great addition to a church multimedia system. Easy operation so with some labeling, any person using the system can make it work without instruction.
Note* One thing that I was not aware of prior to purchase, is that it beeps when the input is changed. For us that isn't a major problem, but in some quieter uses (installations that change inputs more often) it could be a problem.

I am using this switch in a conference/training room. It allows multiple sources to share a single display without swapping cables.

Comments about Cables To Go TruLink® 4-Port UXGA Monitor Switcher/Extender with 3.5mm Audio:

We're using this switch at our church to manage multiple monitor inputs to the main stage screen. The switch has worked great so far.

However, *BE AWARE*, the switch makes a beeping sound every time you switch inputs. This is quite annoying in a church setting.

Comments about Cables To Go TruLink® 4-Port UXGA Monitor Switcher/Extender with 3.5mm Audio:

I have installed about 35 of these units in our facility over the past month. Since installation I have had about 6 instances of these units freezing and preventing any of the sources from being switched. I've found it to be an intermittent and repeating the same steps does not reproduce it. The only way to reset it is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. While it's a quick fix, and so far always works, it is still an annoyance and something unexpected when I chose this unit.

I really hope a new iteration of this unit is in the works that fixes this issue as I have about 45 more installations over the next 2 years that I was planning to install these in and other than this issue it's a very nice unit.
