I purchased this product and I regret it. It will eject itself while your trying to transfer your files and I stopped using it because I'm afraid of loosing all my footage. It's not reliable at all. Don't buy.

I use this at work to transfer pictures from
our cameras. We got a new camera that uses
SD media of the SDHC type and it would not read
it. I bought a cheap one at BJs that works.

Won't work with PCMCIA cards: too small

Comments about Cables To Go 52-in-1 USB 2.0 Memory Card Reader:

Description does not mention that it will not work with the standard 58mm wide PCMCIA card. Will only accept cards up to 38mm. I will keep the unit as I continue to work on a solution to using a PCMCIA specific to my camera. Otherwise, the unit appears to work as described.

Our company has a few of these and I have never been able to read a file off one, not even once. It trys to map all the drives at once but none of them have media. It must work somewhere, buy one of you are feeling lucky.

No, I am not a novice at computers.

I use this baby to load audio that I've recorded on a portable recorder to my Mac, and it works seamlessly. The Mac recognized it as a new hard drive as soon as it was connected.

Nice job, CTG!
