This unit is great for what it is. It does tend to cause the screen to have a 1/2 second glitch when you flip the switch. If you want a smooth transition, buy an expensive fader.

For visitors who want to use their laptop in our training room, we added the Switch Box. Now it's very easy for them to switch from the desktop to the laptop and still use the same big lcd-screen.

I use the switch box to select either DVD or laptop as input to our projector system. Just one flip of the switch changes the images displayed on the projector. Make your connections once and then just use the switch to make your selection.
