Comments about Cables To Go RJ45 Shielded Cat5 Modular Plug for Round Solid Cable - 100pk:

Purchased 100 of these and upon receipt found out that these have incerts that are not shown or talked about in description. Can't be used without putting each wire through cable incert and pushed into place. The product won't crimp the metal shield, ground into place because metal shield does not go far enough inside connector. If I take the outer pastic shielding off so it can make contact for the ground then connector is weak and shield pulls out anyway because back opening is so large. So it looks like I need to push in the entire cable and leave enough metal to go back out and be soldered into place. Then the connector will be grounded after I burn up a couple of these RJ45 because they don't seem to make good contact after pushing the incert into place. Horrible construction, they need to be built exactly like a regular RJ-45 or it needs to be stated in discription that they won't work
