This is the right cable to install audio throughout your house. Made from 65 strands of 99.9% high-purity copper, this speaker wire is very flexible and unlikely to kink during installation. CL2-rated for use inside walls, this wire features twisted-pair conductors to make the wire much easier to pull throughout the house than flat or zip-cord style speaker wire. Twisted pairs also help to cancel common-mode noise. The flame-retardant white PVC jacket helps to diminish the potential of fire spreading between floors. Inner conductors are color-coded for easy identification.

I bought a highend sound system for my wife's Jazzercise Center and needed speaker wire I could put in the walls. The outer insulation for this CL2 rated wire was thicker and more durable than any I have seen. The phono plugs look much better on a cable thick enough to just fit the back end of the plug the way you expect to see out-of-wall speaker lines.
