The 3.5mm right angle stereo audio cable is specifically designed for quality computer audio applications. I purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad T510 to which I attached an Altec Lansing stereo amplifier (w/dual speakers) so I could hear my music as I work. Unfortiunately, Altec Lansing fabricated the amplifier with a permanent, straoight-out plug which gets in the way of everything and endangers the computer (possible falls). The right-angle terminated cable solved that problem nicely.

Use this cord to supply the sound when I hook my computer to my HDTV to stream Netflix movies. Works fine, but the sound only comes through my TV...can't figure out how to route it from my laptop to my receiver (I think my receiver is a little too old). Does the job.
