I walk on a treadmill in the early morning and usually watch a DVR recorded show. With the 25' extension I'm able to use earphones and keep the rest of the family sleeping while I work out. I like the fact that it's a plain and simple cable, not some battery operated, wireless, bulky headphones. With the extra length I able to tuck this out of the way, under baseboards, etc.

We bought these to use with our church's "Projector Carts". Each cart has an LCD powerpoint projector, VHS / DVD player and amplified speaker set. There is a 25 foot VGA cable on the cart to allow connection to a presenter's laptop. The VGA cable has an internal stereo connection at both ends, but this connection is only about a foot long. On some laptops the VGA external monitor / projector connection is in the back and the stereo output plug is in the front so the added 1.5 foot patch cord enables connection to virtually any laptop. These cords are reliable and cheap enough that we don't get too excited if one of them goes missing.
