I have been in the hifi hobby for over forty five years and have never had cables generate hum. These do!! i picked up a cheapo radio shack type standard cable and even that was dead quiet. To top it off these cables are not cheap. in my opinion a poor buy.

Needed a long run from source to a speaker bar. Thought about trying a DYI approach, but that would have been WAY more expensive and WAY more hassle.[...]right length (even a little longer than I needed) and for the modest level equipment it sounds perfect. Maybe not the solution for true audiophiles, but for the family basement it works great!

I ran this interconnect from a phono preamp to a preamp input so I could get a turntable back into my system. Great channel separation and good bass were my best results. Great price for the length I needed to keep the turntable away from the speakers and subwoofer. The cables are an upgrade over the standard type.

I have used velocity cables for years and have them to be consistant in quality and when I received my first one I was susprised that it was made better than many highend cables-Read BIG $$$. In 8 years I have found zero problems or faiures with them. When a my best friend asked me to hook up her DVDR+hard drive to her satalite receiver, and 50 inch flat screen I went for velocity. I do not feel by spending 3 times the price that you get 3 times the transmission quality if it is just for home use. The sound and picture are fantastic. What more can I say. She is overjoyed and I knew she would be with these cables.
