Our RCA stereo to dock connector cable plays music from your iPod through your home stereo. The dock connector sends line level audio out from your iPod, and provides better sound quality than when using the headphone jack. The dock connector also controls the volume of your iPod through your stereo rather than having to adjust the volume on the iPod.

Since all my music is now on the iPod, I hadn't used my receiver for music for some time. This product let me easily send line-quality sound from the micro-disk of the iPod through my high-quality stereo and speakers. The iPod is finally useful at home! And it sounds better there than anywhere else!!!

I bought this to use with a Mackie mixer in my studio. When it arrived I found it DOES NOT work with either an iPhone or the iPod touch. Luckily I had an old iPod Nano and it works fine. I've love to find one that works with the iPhone. Well made, [...], I'd buy again from these folks.

Simple to use and very effective. My iPod plays back through this cable into my iPod mixer which is hooked up to my power amp and you have hours of great music.

I had an older car stereo that took MP3 CD's and was in an off road vehical. the sand won over the CD slot and I was stuck with a radio only deck. Was getting ready to buy another when I looked in the back of the car stereo and saw a set on red and white inputs. Found your site and the cord, and HOT DAM! I now have my iPod hooked into an older car stereo and it only cost me [$] instead of 200 for a new deck!

This cable makes a much better connection than using the earphone jack, just like they advertised. The sound is very clean and the connection is solid so there is no jiggling of the cord to get the connection just right. I use it particularly in a spinning class setting and others wish they had it.

Running sound from the headphone jack of an iPod into a stereo receiver results in OK sound, but running the sound from the dock connector at the bottom of an iPod into a receiver is much better. Using the first method, I would have to turn the volume on the receiver up more than halfway. I would also turn the volume up on the iPod with the resulting sound being a bit tinny and distorted. Now that I using the dock connector method, the sound is about as loud as the other components plugged into the receiver without any discernible distortion. The only improvement I might recommend is to use higher quality RCA plugs but this is a minor point.

Excellent IPOD cable. I bought this cable to hook up my IPOD to my guitar amplifier and it works like a charm. Now I can run music and jam tracks thru amp and play guitar to them for an exceptional learning experience to one: play music with songs and two: keep rythym with music instead of using a metronome.

I was using the ipod's headphone jack because I didn't know better. I thought the extra noise was a feature of the medium, but if you're saving your music using lossless or other high quality recording system, you owe it to yourself to try the best connection for your stereo systems, be it in your living room, your PC, or your car.
