Save your money and don't buy this useless video converter. It has been nothing but trouble since I installed it. It forgets its resolution settings every time the computer is rebooted and when the screen saver kicks in. It also forgets which side monitor one is on. Sometimes the control icon isn't present in the system tray. Sometimes for no reason, monitor two just stops working. I am running Vista Home Premium, and everything else works except this converter. I am going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade my power supply so I can install a real dual channel video controller board. Too bad, it looked like a good way to add a second monitor without too much hassle.

I am using the cable so I can have 2 external monitors hooked up to my laptop and I can see 3 differant screens and work off all at the same time. This is so wonderful.

We used this on a computer that only had one VGA output. This plugged in and we were able to get a second monitor hooked up immediately. I would recommend for people who want an easy way to use dual monitors on a computer that doesn't have the connections.

I use it to create a dual screen with my big TV. I have not figured out why my primary monitor(TV)has excellent resolution but my small screen left me with limited options. There is a caveat in the brochure saying this happens with some systems. Works well over all and is far cheaper than a new video card.
