This is an awesome addition to my notebook. I did run into driver issues when I used the drivers that came with the unit. I am running W7P on my laptop and it didn't like the old drivers. I downloaded the updated drivers and after the reboot it is working flawlessly. I am using this device to add a 3rd monitor to my Laptop.

I have purchased four of these items and I have had no problems with 2 of them. The other 2 randomly lockup the laptops they are on. So far non of the fixes I have found have worked.

We purchased a numerous quantity of these for some of our remote (and nontechnical) users. They had a unique business problem where they had to read information from one screen and type it into another. Their resolutions were maxed out and they still had problems having enough screen real estate to accomplish their assignment without switching back and forth between windows. Adding an additional monitor was our solution, but doing so with remote/nontechnical users was a challenge we didn't expect. CTG fixed us up with our first batch of these and after our initial testing, we were surprised at how easy to set up they were. We mailed them along with additional monitors directly to our remote users and all were able to install them without any assistance from our technical support team. An easy to implement, cost effective, user approved solution is what I got when we decided to go with these.

Great product! Easy to setup - easy to use. If you loose the driver cd they are on line. Works like a charm. Shipped in our demo kits - it is very rugged.

This adapter was not compatible with my computer. I contacted you about the matter and requested a refund and instructions to return the unit to you an acknowledgment that you had received my message was sent. Then nothing. After repeated attempts to get a response I have turned the matter over to my credit card company to see if they can get you to respond. I have used Cables to Go for other items and have not had problems. If this is the way you respond when there is a problem I think I will have to go elsewhere. David Larson

I bought one of these because I love screen real estate and I needed something to add an extra monitor when my laptop is docked at home. My laptop only has a VGA and a DVI connection so it can only run 2 monitors at once. With this USB to VGA adapter I am able to add a 3rd monitor.

The adapter works really well especially for applications where there isn't much going on on the screen, like keeping your email open or something. Installation was a breeze, it just worked which was actually kind of surprising since I have bad luck with drivers never wanting to work correctly.

Bottom line, a solid product for everyday use. I wouldn't recommend gaming with it, but it gets the job done and does it well.
