Constructed from high-quality cable and a shortened body plug, this design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The molded, snagless boot prevents unwanted cable snags during installation and provides extra strain relief. Available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation. I use this cable to extend network cables when they are too short to connect to my notebook for internet use. So far, it seems to work just fine.

I have a new netbook, and am using the cable to connect to an Ethernet hub to hook in to the home network.

I can also keep my Internet Security program updated via DSL, so that I am not too far behind when I travel.

Finally, the snagless design is a smart idea and helps because I am connecting/unconnecting on a fairly regular basis.
