The buttons/controls on one of the chillers we use to cool a laser broke, so we learned that we could control it via computer RS232 connection. Since the chiller is across the room from our computers, we needed a long cable. This one is the right length and seems to work fine. Saved us from expensive service from the manufacturer!

We use the cables purchased for remote vehicle and wind tunnel testing. The cables are used to hook up to our data aquisition system to our lap tops any where from 25 to 50 feet away. We purchased 3 cables a few yers ago and just purchased 6 more due to use and expanding requirements. No issues with any of the cables to date <-- Even with a lot of abuse.

I ran this cable through a wall and above a drop ceiling. This was used as an extension to a 75' cable and there seems to be negligible degradation in signal strength. It's a good cable.

I had tried several brands of serial cables with poor results because they were not adequately shielded. The cables I purchased from Cables To Go are so well shielded that they solved all of the crosstalk. data loss and interference problems.

The company cable is only 15ft.long.--this 100ft. will reach all the way across the entire lady's dress shop.This will save hundreds of steps at inventory time. Before everything had to be brought to the register---NOW--we take the laser scanner to the clothes.No more take-downs bring overs &put back-ups. A ONE TIME SHOT & ITS DONE.Counting 8000 to 9000 pcs of clothing is very laborsome & tireing in one day. This makes it a lot easier with the 100ft. cable.
