Comments about Cables To Go 12in 7-pin 180° 1-Device Serial ATA Cable:

One has already failed. HDD stopped being seen and the cable was the culprit. Another has given me device controller errors in the Event Viewer which, per Microsoft, is probably indicative of a loose or failing cable. I checked the cable and it was not loose. I'm waiting for it to fail and send both back to Cables-to-go. I bought 2 other longer ones and haven't used them yet.

Comments about Cables To Go 12in 7-pin 180° 1-Device Serial ATA Cable:

I added a second Western Digital hard drive to my HP desktop computer HPE-210F. The drive did not come with cables. This cable fit and worked fine. This cable cost about [$]. [...] wanted about $20.00 for the same cable (plus tax). Quite a savings. P.S. you also need a power supply cable.

Comments about Cables To Go 12in 7-pin 180° 1-Device Serial ATA Cable:

I have an external hard drive that I use for backups so its very important that I maintain it as best as possible. The cable that I was using stopped working. I used a USB cable but I knew that using this serial cable was better and faster. For me top quality and reliability is a must and this cable satisfied that.
