Needed to connect a sever running monitoring equipment to a legacy parallel printer. Code specifications prevented the use of a network printer. The printer needed to be in an adjacent room. The only way to connect it was to use a long (50') parallel printer cable. Cables2Go had that specific cable in stock which I ordered. [...] code specs were met.

We attempted to set this up for use with a thermal label printer and had no luck at all. We followed all directions and never got it to work. We're going back to standard printer cable and a switch box.
