Comments about Cables To Go 6ft IEEE-1284 DB25 Male to MicroCentronics 36 Male Parallel Printer Cable:

I wanted to reuse an old HP Laserjet 3150 to save ink since most of my prints are B&W. However, I had misplaced the original printer cord. I assumed any standard paralell cord would do, but this printer uses a particular model that I could not find here in my country. [...]

Can you believe that I took my printer in for repair and the shop jacked my cable! I went back after realizing I took it with my printer for repair and they explained they did not know where it was nor could they or would they replace it for me! How rude, anyway CablestoGo came to my rescue and we're back up and printing again! Thanks!

Comments about Cables To Go 6ft IEEE-1284 DB25 Male to MicroCentronics 36 Male Parallel Printer Cable:

This cable was super easy to find, came in a great length, [...] and was easy to attach. I needed it for my HP Color LaserJet 4500 printer since my Vista tower could not recognize the printer through the FIOS network cable or through wireless. So this made the proper connection and worked! The only thing that is not perfect is that for some reason the clips around the MC36M connection won't lock/clip around to hold it fast to my printer... so I can't pull on the cable or move the printer and expect the connection to stay in place. I may have to play around a bit more with the clips, but then I don't want to break them. It does work just fine if I don't move things (it does hold in the MC36M port). Overall, very pleased with the purchase and I will definitely use CablesToGo for future needs!
