Comments about APW APW Mini-Max 4u Wallmount Patch Panel Bracket (6in x 7in) - Black:

I needed a bracket to hold a patch panel for a home network, and this one fit the bill. It does what it should do, and it doesn't take up any more space than necessary.

It's actually a rather nice bracket - it's textured powder-coated metal, the hinge is sturdy enough, and most importantly they *INCLUDE* the rack screws and snap-in rack rail mounting points. All you need to provide are screws to attach it to a wall.

The only downside is that you need to unscrew all the screws on one side of the bracket to open it. I simply put more screws on the hinge side and only one on the side that opens, to make things easier when I'm opening and closing it frequently during installation. It's a small price to pay for the compact size of this type of bracket.
