I used these right angle RCA connectors behind a cable box to minimize the space. I am connecting the 5-conductor component cable between a digital cable box and a flatscreen mounted on a wall.

They fit tightly and conserve at least three inches from behind the cable box. The only downside with these connectors is that the bins from which they are pulled have both short and long versions. I really want the short version but the stock pullers don't seem to care that they are mixing the two versions. It's not worth the cost to return the long versions and the difference is about a half inch.
