I use this product as part of a series of adapters and converters that are required to connect (and transmit a signal between) a vintage computer's CPU with a kind of RGB-Analog video signal (manufactured between 1989 and 1992) to a currently-sold flat screen high-defintion digital signal requiring display monitor.
It was great to see that this difficult to find adapter interface for my vintage computer's video port fit correctly into this port, thereby enabling the next connection part required in this required series of adapters and converters that I described above.
Although of normal quality, I would have appreciated it if this adapter was built from above-standard quality materials (i.e. "gold" prongs that I've often seen on the highest quality adapters and cables to maximize the signal quality and product's longevity). That said, I don't think that it would be reasonable to expect this kind of extraordinarily high quality construction.
But I just would like to mention that, because when used with my configuration, a degree of physical pressure placed on this adapter Product from the other adapters and converters that need to be attached to it can be unavoidable, making an unusually strongly-constructed adapter Product of special importance here.

A customer had an older Mac computer with tons of family tree history on it. When the monitor blew out he was devastated, with this product we easily converted a PC monitor to his Mac and now he can transfer his data to floppies.

I am assisting an elderly woman with her MacIntosh LC (circa 1990's). She wanted to retrieve her data off her 3.5 disc and LC hard-drive (the LC still operates). The CRT went out, so I hunted up a used flat panel (late 90's?) but because of the unique connection used by Mac in those days, they weren't readily connectible to a modern flat screen. A friend hooked me up with CableToGo, recommended the adapter, and Voila!, ready to retrieve the info. Thank you.

It's a gender changer! It's small, solid, and it just works.
I purchased this to use an old MAC Power PC with a standard LCD display.
I did not want to look at the old 14" CRT that came with the MAC.
It works fine. I have only used this on one MAC so far. If I ever need another one I would purchase this again.
I ordered it and it got here in less time then expected.
