The TruLink® Media Gateway maximizes in-room entertainment through easy-to-use, plug and play technology. Auto-sensing / switching allows guests to easily switch from device to device by automatically detecting which device is being used, and then switching to the appropriate input. This active connectivity panel provides hassle-free connectivity for laptops, digital/video cameras, Blu-ray™ or DVD players and game consoles to in-room HDTVs or projectors. Advanced connectivity allows easy updates via the network in a matter of seconds, saving thousands of dollars in cost each time new technology is introduced.

The automatic switching function provides ease of use for guests, while the USB port adds a convenient way to charge portable devices such as cell phones. The TruLink Media Gateway automatically upscales 480i (NTSC) and 576i (PAL) analog video signals up to 1920 x 1080p while displaying native HDMI or DVI digital video signal up to 1920 x 1080p. It also supports SXGA resolution of up to 1280 x 1024. The USB port can be used for deployment of firmware upgrades which will automatically update the firmware via FTP, saving hundreds of hours in labor. 1
