PC/Video (UXGA) Runners™:

  • Color-Code: YELLOW.
  • Three 28AWG coaxial cables with braided copper shielding, three 24AWG twisted pairs plus a single 24AWG pair.
  • Mylar™ foil shield.
  • UXGA Runner for PC applications.
  • UXGA supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels (that includes VGA, SVGA, XGA, and SXGA too!).
  • Pulling Cap has 15 lb/ft of pulling tension.
  • Plenum or CL2 runners available.
  • Choose lengths of 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 feet.

Home Theater (5-Coax) Runners™:

  • Color-Code: BLUE.
  • 5-Miniature coaxial assemblies.
  • 28 AWG stranded copper conductors with Mylar foil and 85% braided copper shield.
  • Ideal for audio/video and component video applications.
  • Compatible with analog and S/PDIF digital audio.
  • Pulling cap has 15 lb/ft of pulling tension.
  • Plenum or CL2 runners available.
  • Choose lengths of 15, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 feet.

Digital Runners™:

  • Color-Code: RED.
  • Four 24AWG twisted pair with Mylar™ foil and drain wire, one 24AWG twisted pair plus five 24AWG conductors.
  • Optimized design for TMDS uncompressed digital video; HDMI™ and DVI™.
  • Overall Mylar™ foil shield and tinned copper braid.
  • Ideal for home theater and PC applications.
  • Maximum resolution of 1080p.
  • Pulling cap designed to withstand 15 lb/ft pulling tension.
  • CL2-rated PVC for in-wall installation.
  • Choose lengths of 15, 25, 35, 50 or 65 feet.
  • Runners 35ft and longer require an active wall plate at the source end.

Break-Away Connections:
Break-Aways Compatible with UXGA and 5-Coax Runners are either Decora®-compatible wall plates or 1.5ft long flying leads. There are 13 choices:

Break-Aways compatible with Digital Runners include active or passive wall plates or flying leads in lengths of 1.5, 3, 6, and 10 feet. Active wall plates are required for the source end of Digital Runners 35ft and longer. Flying leads and passive wall plates can be used to create a passive-to-passive connection for Runners up to 25ft, or on the display end in an active-to-passive system. There are currently five different types of Digital Break-Aways:

Passive HDMI Wall Plate Red HDMI digital video on Runners upt to 25ft, or the display end on Runner 35ft and longer
Passive DVI Wall Plate Red DVI digital video on Runner up to 25ft, or the display end on Runner 35ft and longer
HDMI Flying Lead Red HDMI digital video on Runners up to 25ft, both ends of Runner up to 35ft, or only the display end on Runner 35ft and longer.
DVI Flying Lead Red DVI digital video on Runners up to 25ft, both ends of Runner up to 35ft, or only the display end on Runner 35ft and longer.

KEY TO COLOR CODING:

  • Match yellow break-aways with yellow runners.
  • Match blue break-aways with blue runners.
  • Match green break-aways with yellow or blue runners
  • Match red break-aways with red runners
