RapidRun™ Break-Away™ Termination Ends - Break Away From Limited Connection Choices

The second step in creating your RapidRun system is to pick the Break-Away termination options you desire. To ensure quick and easy configurations, the RapidRun Runners are color-coded: blue for Home Theater Runners, yellow for PC/Video Runners, and red for Digital Runners. After you have selected the right Runner for your job, choose a Break-Away option:

• Decora®-compatible wall plate
• Flying lead

With three Runner cable options, we offer nearly limitless capabilities and the highest performance – with over 20 configurations that allow you flexibility for your unique application. For added protection, the Runner cables are terminated with female connectors to eliminate the chance for fatal damage to a pin during installation. For effortless connection to the Runner, Break-Away terminations are finished with a male connector. All you need to do is align the red arrows to guide the connectors together and tighten the knurled locking ring. It’s that simple!

Break-Aways are color-coded to be compatible with appropriate Runners:

• Blue Break-Aways are only compatible with blue Runners.
• Yellow Break-Aways are only compatible with yellow Runners.
• Green Break-Aways are compatible with both yellow and blue Runners (yellow and blue make green)
• Red Break-Aways are only compatible with red Digital Runners.
