Lastar Executive Recognized as CFO of the Year

DAYTON, OHIO – NOV. 23, 2009 – Lastar today announced John Kuhnash, the company’s CFO, was named CFO of the Year by the Dayton Business Journal. Winners were honored at an awards luncheon and were featured in the Dayton Business Journal.

Kuhnash joined Lastar as CFO in 2007 after 20 years in corporate finance, leading his previous companies through turnarounds and economic growth. At Lastar, Kuhnash has arranged financing for growth and acquisition, re-engineered the financial statements to improve efficiency, helped with the expansion and restructuring of global operations and maintained solid footing through the global financial crisis.

Kuhnash was one of five Dayton area CFOs honored at the luncheon, where he was recognized in the "large private company" category. Other categories included medium private company, small private company, public/education entity and nonprofit.
